Travel

In the fall of 2009 I had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester in Rome, Italy. That was my first international adventure, and I took full advantage of it. I traveled around Italy and visited a number of major cities in Europe.

In 2015 a trip to Banff National Park in Canada reawakened my wanderlust, and later that year I traveled solo for the first time to Munich, Germany. Other fun trips from around that time include an Iceland road trip with a friend, an adventure in Belize with a group of friends, and solo adventures in the United States to Denver and Portland (I didn’t live there yet!).

In 2018 when I made the decision to leave Pittsburgh I traveled solo in Chile and Peru for over a month before moving to Portland. My career at that time took me to Costa Rica and Sweden, where I tried to sneak in personal time off to explore on my own. COVID put an end to those trips, and eventually I made the jump to a different company.

In 2021 I traveled internationally for the first time post-COVID to Georgia (the country not the state) with my partner. We explored different regions in the country and fell in love with the wine, food, and welcoming people.
